TECHNOPOLIS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE LAUNCHPAD WINNER

- Funding enables growth and internationalization of a new business. However, it is not easy to find funding, especially during times like this. MindTrek has recognized the challenge and fights against the recession. The MindTrek Launchpad award for the best digital media product and business concept promotes entrepreneurship and may give a boost for a successful fast-growing business, says business development expert Kari Vääränen from Technopolis Development Services.

As a MindTrek partner, Technopolis Development Services will coach all the presentations of the finalists. In addition, Technopolis offers a year-long business development agreement for the winner, worth of 5 000 Euros, which can be completed in any Technopolis location in Finland.

- The first step in financing is to create and practice an appealing investor pitch and then it’s about presenting it again and again to the appropriate investor candidates. If a six-minute presentation does not raise sufficient interest, the entrepreneur will not get further, says Mr Vääränen.

Technopolis Plc's Development Services customers have collected more than 60 M Euros in venture funding over the last two years.
