At Music Finland, he oversees international export operations and leads insights into industry innovations. Turo also serves as the VP of Music Tech Europe, an association dedicated to fostering collaboration between the music and tech industries. With a wealth of knowledge in AI, blockchain, licensing, and technology within the music industry, Turo has advised numerous startups, including music AI companies, and frequently shares his expertise at top global music and tech conferences.
With her deep expertise in AI strategies, digital transformation, and intelligent operations, Joyce works at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and real-world business applications. Her role at PwC Finland involves helping organizations harness the power of AI to enhance operations, future-proof industries, and drive innovation.
In addition to her consulting work, Joyce earned her Doctor of Science (Technology) at Aalto University, where she focused on the Industrial Metaverse and its impact on manufacturing and human-technology collaboration, particularly within the context of Industry 5.0. She has been a key player in various Business Finland-funded co-innovation projects and even conducted a research visit to the University of Cambridge’s Cyber-Human Lab, where she collaborated with industry and academia on groundbreaking research.
Jouni has been at the forefront of developing media technologies since the early 1990s, with extensive experience in metadata management, digital archiving, AI, extended reality, and more. As the founder and leader of Yle Sandbox, an accelerator for innovation at Yle, Jouni is committed to pushing the boundaries of media innovation, exploring cutting-edge solutions that integrate AI and emerging technologies into media production and broadcasting.
As an XR Specialist at the Helsinki XR Center, Narmeen leads the Virtual Creation Core initiative, pushing the boundaries of immersive content creation in the Metaverse. She also conducts Generative AI workshops for SMEs through the Finnish AI Region (FAIR EDIH) Project, helping creative industries integrate AI tools into their workflows. Currently pursuing her PhD at Tampere University, Narmeen’s research explores the design of virtual spaces in fictional and fantastical cities, blending urban planning with cutting-edge XR innovation.
